Why it’s important to be choosy about thoughts
by heidi_behr | Oct 22, 2019 | Being choosey, How to Feel Peace Now
Do you notice what you are thinking?
I catch myself, again and again, noticing when I feel off — and I can trace it quickly to whatever I’m thinking that ISN’T in Alignment with Source. 😒🤨😔 It might be about the news (ugh) or illness (yuck) or worries about people I love (oh dear!). This is not what the Source within me is ever thinking. No wonder I feel off! 😬 This is pretty important stuff. Being choosy about thoughts matter!
Our thoughts affect our emotions. But often we don’t know what we’re thinking until we recognize our feelings.
Our emotions are our guidance system — they let us know when we are getting a bit disconnected from Source/God/The Divine/Spirit— essentially from the perspective of Love.
So here’s some advice to stay more solidly connected:
Keep being choosey about your thoughts!
Choose to see yourself the way Source does. See the world the way Source does, because being human is tricky stuff!
Or more eloquently said from @abrahamhickspublications ,
Abraham also says:
There are things that are true that you don’t want to be true in your experience. So use a different criteria then is it true, ask yourself is this something I want to experience? If it is something you want to experience, then give it your undivided attention.
Yes, the news can be rough to hear– and really tough to witness. Rather than spending time on what is “true”, ask yourself, “Is this what I want?” If you do watch the news, use it as your prayer list. If you see troubling things, launch your rockets of desire for peace and kindness and then go BE PEACE. BE KINDNESS.
What will help you stay choosey today? (Hint: pointing your compass towards LOVE will help you stay choosey in a good way!) ✨💟✨😌
